Love Letter

Baby,

About what you've said that, "there's no such thing as "free lunch"," well, maybe it’s time for you to realize how much God loves you – He wants you to grow up.

There are hard realities about the world we live in, and wether we accept the fact or not, every blessing has an equivalent sacrifice. Maybe not on your part. Sometimes, other people sacrifice for you. Like, when sweet Catholics like you live a peaceful life, it’s just because of what Christ did on the Cross.

I offer you this comic book of Calvin and Hobbes. It’s a story about the dilemmas of a kid – his world view, when he is childish and when he is childlike. It’s okay to be like children – just like what the Sage once said, "unless you become like one of these children you won’t be able to enter the kingdom of Heaven." But when a person is childish, she does not see God in the things happening in her life and she would often complain that life is not fair.

It is easier to be childlike than childish – all you have to do is:

1.        Focus on the things that you have to be happy, not on the things you do not have.

2.        Focus on the things you can do about it, not on the things you cannot do.

3.        Stay positive. When you compare yourself with my exes you forget the things that I’ve done for you and never for them. The prefix "ex" means they've been "exed" out of my life for your sake.

4.        Stop complaining. Be resourceful. You have rights to practice on me as the one I love to save this relationship.

The boy Calvin and his cat Hobbes is created by Bill Watterson. The names Calvin and Hobbes is actually taken from the greatest philosophers of all time John Calvin and Thomas Hobbes who have exactly opposite views about life and about the world. But here, in Calvin and Hobbes comics, they have a different story – how to cope up with life’s realities and not lose your sanity.

Enjoy.

Loving you with all my heart
and doing everything ONLY FOR YOU...
