The Karate Kid (Jacky Chan version) reflections

I watched The Karate Kid in my girlfriend's place last night. It was Jacky Chan’s modern version as Master Han who taught young Jaden Smith being bullied in school how to defend himself, still be at peace with his enemies and the world and win the heart of his special friend a Chinese girl. His story is incredible – that which happens to 1 in 100 – people who get lucky the first time they stand in the middle of the competition arena and get the trophy.

All movies are incredible – at least 50% the truth in my rating – so much like any faith, philosophy or religion. But if I’m going to have some religion now, I would take it from movies such as this than sit to listen with some pseudo-guru in a church or cathedral.

I felt good Kung Fu resurrected inside me with this movie. And Jacky as my favorite actor sifu. Seldom you find inspiration in this world – but if you catch one moment you should hold on to it as if for dear life’s sake. Seldom you find movies that tell you loving yourself and believing yourself goes together with finding harmony with the universe and peace with the world – and if you know in your heart it’s true and you deserve this you should pay attention.

God is in everything because God created all things – all things speak of Him whether animate or inanimate object intend to or not.

Determinism is real to me than belief in things as by-product of the mere chaos of chemical reactions in Space. To think about the science of things is intellectual. But to think that Someone created everything so we may have science is transcendental.

That the planets are exactly located where they are now for Someone’s purpose is fantastic – super outside the realm of human reality and truth – subliminal and philosophically incredulous imagination which may have some truth in it. But then, aren’t all good things born this way?
